Based on fresh fish
The strength point of Alla Dama Bianca is the particular way of cooking food and the selection of it. Few elaborations are made because of the high quality and taste of the fish itself.
At the restaurant, you can taste the specialities of the gastronomy of Istria and Trieste: dishes based mainly on fish, seasoned and accompanied by locally produced products. Among the appetisers, we recommend the crab salad, prawn cocktail, sardine marinade, oysters, seafood prepared with olive oil and Mediterranean spices. Among the first dishes you can taste the noodles or "risotto" with seafood, the fish soup (with fish, crabs, squids...), tomato pasta enriched with local herbs, the jota (a delicious soup with cabbage, potatoes and beans).
Regarding the second dishes, we propose: sea breams (for example, roasted with beets), basses, steamed octopus seasoned with local extra virgin oil, roast or grilled redfish; as well as wild asparagus, red lettuce and beans of Karst.
Desserts are suitably home-made for the restaurant and are a selection of the most typical Karst desserts, as for example apple strudel with walnuts and poppy seeds or cream puff pastry
