Shows, events, concerts

At any time of the year, the offer of shows and cultural events is really various, in the Province of Trieste and all through the Region: by the proximity to Duino, the events taking place at the castle Miramare, the important exhibitions held in the stud farm, the summer concerts and especially the show Lights and Sounds, an evocation of the love story of Maximilian and Carlotta of Habsburg. The events that should be mentioned are:the Autumn Cup (Barcolana), which is absolutely the race with more participants in the world, the "Trieste air show" in mid-August, a demonstration of the acrobatic patrols at which take part, among others, the Italian Acrobatic Arrows; The Off-Shore competition, the Formula One of the sea; and, among the shows, the Festival of the Latin-American Cinema, the Alpe Adria Cinema Festival, the International Science Fiction Festival and many other events.
